At Sirius, we have therefore introduced a comprehensive approach to focus on the continual improvement of our employee engagement work.
Following our annual employee survey, we have introduced some key initiatives:
- Working Groups to foster an even more Positive Culture
We have established six working groups, each comprising volunteers and sponsored by two executives. The groups are dedicated to cultivating a positive culture within the company. These groups address six vital themes: Working Conditions, Diversity & Inclusion, Wellbeing, Academy, Training & Development, Leadership, and Communications. The working groups serve as forums for open communication, allowing employees to share ideas, express concerns, and provide valuable feedback. Since the inception of these groups, we have witnessed not only their direct impact but also the invaluable output and ideas they generate.
- Workplace by Meta for Enhanced Community
Recognising the importance of community in fostering an engaged workforce, we have introduced Workplace by Meta to the company. This tool acts as a central hub for communication, serving as both a noticeboard and messaging system. With employees dispersed in multiple locations across Germany and the UK, Workplace enables seamless communication, ensuring everyone stays informed and connected. This platform facilitates company-wide updates, chat functions, and the hosting of events and live videos, promoting engagement across the entire organisation, something we have not had between Sirius and BizSpace prior to this.
Our commitment to creating an exceptional workplace goes beyond meeting financial targets. By actively promoting employee engagement through working groups and advanced communication platforms like Workplace by Meta, we are not only enhancing our company culture but also investing in the wellbeing of our workforce.
